B.H.M. van der Velden



Bas van der Velden (1986) is a postdoctoral researcher at the University Medical Center Utrecht. He received his PhD in Medical Imaging at Utrecht University and his MSc degree in Medical Engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology. He has experience at research labs in the USA (UC Berkeley and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center).

Bas’s research focuses on breast cancer prognosis and personalized treatment using medical image analysis and machine learning.
