Patients with weakened immune system
What if my child has a chronic illness? uitklapper, klik om te openen
Infection is generally mild. Children are not or only briefly ill and not seriously ill. Hospitalization is rarely necessary. Contamination is also mild in children with a chronic disease. In children, an infection with the coronavirus can be compared to a bad cold. Children with a chronic illness do not have to adhere to extra measures. If a child has an "emergency plan" for respiratory infections (specific measures during illness), this plan also applies to an infection with the corona virus.
